Treatment of Water SwineThe Quartet® Kobra Swine treats water completely, improving the quality of drinking water. The treatment takes place in 4 steps: 1-Chlorination, 2-Acidification, 3- Filtering and 4- Anti-Scaling or Corrosion.
The first half of the Quartet® Kobra Swine is responsible for the microbiological control through the Chlorination (1), made by means of the humidification of the Trichlor tablets, and Acidification (2) that reduces the pH in the water through the Acikobra® organic acid tablets. The joint action of these compounds optimizes water sanitation. For the action of Chlorine becomes more efficient in acid PH.
The second part of the process performs the physical-chemical control by the Nipple Kobra Filter (3) that performs the process of filtration by depth retaining the solid particles present in the water. The Nipple Kobra Filter is a high durability product as it is Washable and reusable. In order to finish, the water goes through the fourth process where the scaling agents (Water hardness) and corrosives (oxidizing water) performed by Anti-scaling® Kobra (4) are inactivated. This action prevents minerals such as: Iron, Calcium Carbonate and Manganese can cause scaling problems in water equipment and dripping in drinking fountains and prevents the corrosion of metals (Iron and Manganese) present in the water, neutralizing problems in animals related to Iron and Manganese oxides, as well as improving the coloring of water.
The Kobra Quartet must be installed in an easily accessible location, between the water tank and the drinker of the shed, serving a shed or up to 1600 animals in finishing phase. In the other phases, it is based on a daily consumption of 20,000 liters of water.
Suitable for low pressure hydraulic installations on pig farms and pig farms being easily handled by agricultural technicians, handlers and breeders,
